CURRICULUM

Nexus follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme for children from Nursery to Year 6. This program is taught in 1,782 schools in 109 countries worldwide. Learners in Year 7 will follow the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, with Years 8 and 9 following the English National Curriculum. Years 10 and 11 follow the Cambridge IGCSE, and learners in Year 12 and 13 follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a curriculum recognized by universities across the globe.

With an IB Diploma our young adults successfully secure places at the world’s top universities. We measure our core subjects against the world’s highest-ranking curriculums.     To me, the approach to learning is remarkably simple. By putting talented and diverse young people together with skilled and dedicated adults, in addition to support from engaged and committed families, you create extraordinary results that speak for themselves. We want to build a culture where the classroom climate welcomes errors, student engagement is the norm, questioning is high, and students gain reputations as effective learners.
    I value working with courageous parents, staff and learners that share a vision that creates a culture where everyone feels safe, has a sense of belonging, is treated with respect and has the right to learn and flourish.
