Sylvia Klinzing was born in the Philippines and moved to the US to take her Masters degree after a year of working as a research assistant at the Marine Science Institute. Since graduating, she has enjoyed teaching Science for more than twenty years and has served as a Head of Science in two schools, as well as a consultant at Sun Associates, an educational technology evaluation and integration company. Sylvia loves to incorporate project based learning into her classes and has spearheaded several Earth Day projects and learning exhibitions at Nexus.
