Dev is a zealous believer in nurturing the holistic development of learners while reinforcing a learning culture of grit and mutual respect. He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Life Sciences, specialising in Molecular and Cell Biology. He then embarked on a full-time teaching career as a primary-level science tutor in local school settings and enrichment centres for three years, before moving on to teach science at an international school in Singapore in 2020.

Dev’s personal teaching philosophy is ‘Connect before Content’. He takes pride in building positive relationships with his learners and collaborating with them as well as other support systems to help them feel motivated, comfortable, and develop as confident learners. He is an ardent reader with fantasy novels and series as his favourite genre. He also enjoys gardening and drawing during his free time. Dev is excited to join Nexus and begin a new chapter in his learning journey.
